Abstract
A vehicle body, in particular a rail vehicle body, includes at least one body shell profile and at least one interior fitting connected to the body shell profile. The interior fitting is held on the body shell profile by at least one fastening element which is slipped or pushed onto the body shell profile using a clip section and clamped there.

- at least one body shell profile;
- at least one interior fitting;
- and
- at least one fastening element holding and connecting said interior fitting on said body shell profile;
- said at least one fastening element having a clip section slipped onto said body shell profile and clamping said at least one fastening element onto said body shell profile.

A method of producing a vehicle body or rail vehicle body, the method comprising the following steps:
- interconnecting at least one body shell profile and at least one interior fitting by:
- slipping a clip section of at least one fastening element onto the body shell profile and clamping the clip section onto the body shell profile;
- and
- fastening the interior fitting to the at least one fastening element.
