Abstract
A method and apparatus for configuring a programmable device, wherein a user may select from pre-defined user modules to select a configuration and corresponding function, representations of which are each displayed to the user, and instructions, based on the selected module, are automatically generated and used by the programmable device to implement the selected configuration and corresponding function.
Claims21
1-20. (canceled)
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- displaying a representation of a first user module corresponding to a first configuration of a programmable device comprising a plurality of configurable circuit blocks;
- displaying a representation of a second user module corresponding to a second configuration of the programmable device;
- receiving an input from a user to select the first user module or the second user module;
- and
- generating instructions that when executed by the programmable device configure the programmable device to implement a function corresponding to the selected module.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising computer-executed instructions that, when executed by a processor perform operations comprising:
- displaying a representation of a first user module corresponding to a first configuration of a programmable device comprising a configurable circuit block;
- displaying a representation of a second user module corresponding to a second configuration of the configurable circuit block of the programmable device;
- receiving an input from a user to select either the first user module or the second user module;
- and
- generating instructions that when executed by the programmable device configure the programmable device to implement a function corresponding to the selected module.
