Apparatus and method for providing interaction information by using image on device display

A mobile device for providing information to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal, the mobile device comprising:

• a controller configured to detect a communication with the POS terminal via near field communication (NFC);
• a display configured to display a credit card image stored in the mobile device in response to the detecting;
• and
• an input component configured to receive a fingerprint input of a user of the mobile device,
• wherein if the received fingerprint input is determined to be valid, the controller is configured to provide information corresponding to a credit card related to the displayed credit card image to the POS terminal, in order to facilitate a performance of a transaction by a settlement server.

A mobile device for providing information to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal, the mobile device comprising:

• a display;
• a memory storing at least one program;
• and
• a processor for executing at least one program, wherein the at least one program includes instructions to perform operations comprising:
• detecting a communication with the POS terminal via near field communication (NFC);
• displaying, on a display of the mobile device, a credit card image stored in the mobile device in response to the detecting;
• receiving a fingerprint input of a user of the mobile device;
• and
• if the received fingerprint input is determined to be valid, providing information corresponding to a credit card related to the displayed credit card image to the POS terminal, in order to facilitate a performance of a transaction by a settlement server.
