Abstract
The invention relates to antagonists of IL-17 isoforms and their uses in diagnosis and therapy, especially for the treatment or prevention of cancers or autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases.

A method for preventing or treating cancer in a patient comprising the step of administering to the patient a composition comprising at least one IL-17 antagonist of at least one IL-17 isoform, wherein the at least one IL-17 isoform is selected from the group consisting of IL-17B, IL-17C and IL-17D.
