Method of transmitting and receiving downlink data in wireless communication system

A method of receiving data through a downlink common transport channel at a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• transmitting a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising measurement information from the user equipment to a radio network controller (RNC),
• wherein the measurement information includes a result of measurement performed by the user equipment;
• and
• receiving, by the user equipment, data from a base station through the downlink common transport channel, the data received at a transmission power determined by the base station based on the measurement information.
• wherein the measurement information is transmitted from the RNC to the base station.

A method of transmitting data through a downlink common transport channel at a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

• receiving, by the base station, measurement information from a radio network controller (RNC),
• wherein the measurement information includes a result of measurement performed by a user equipment;
• and
• transmitting, by the base station, data at a transmission power to the user equipment through the downlink common transport channel.
• wherein the transmission power is determined by the base station based on the measurement information.
