Abstract
Example methods disclosed herein include overlaying a semi-transparent version of a reference image over a sequence of captured images as respective ones of the captured images are displayed on a display of a portable device. Such disclosed example methods also include determining a directional difference between a first one of the captured images and the reference image. Such disclosed example methods further include presenting a directional prompt to indicate a direction to move the portable device to cause a subsequent second one of the captured images to coincide with the reference image.
Claims21
A method comprising:
- overlaying a semi-transparent version of a reference image over a sequence of captured images as respective ones of the captured images are displayed on a display of a portable device;
- determining, with a processor, a directional difference between a first one of the captured images and the reference image;
- and
- presenting a directional prompt to indicate a direction to move the portable device to cause a subsequent second one of the captured images to coincide with the reference image.
A tangible computer readable medium comprising computer readable instructions which, when executed, cause a processor of a portable device to at least:
- overlay a semi-transparent version of a reference image over a sequence of captured images as respective ones of the captured images are displayed on a display of the portable device;
- determine a directional difference between one of the captured images and the reference image;
- and
- present a directional prompt to indicate a direction to move the portable device to cause a subsequent one of the captured images to coincide with the reference image.
A portable device comprising:
- an image overlayer to overlay a semi-transparent version of a reference image over a sequence of captured images as respective ones of the captured images are displayed on a display of the portable device;
- and
- a directional prompter to:
- determine a directional difference between one of the captured images and the reference image;
- and
