Abstract
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal enabling a user to more conveniently use the terminal and a method of controlling therefor. According to at least one of embodiments of the present invention, it is able to provide a user with an easy and accurate image search environment via face recognition of persons included in an image.

A mobile terminal, comprising:
- a touchscreen;
- a memory configured to store a plurality of images;
- and
- a controller configured to:
- cause the touchscreen to display a face position designation area;
- receive a first input via the face position designation area, the first input indicating a specific region of the face position designation area;
- and
- cause the touchscreen to display a first image of the plurality of images, the first image including a face that is at a location of the image that generally corresponds to the specific region.

A method of controlling a mobile terminal, the method comprising:
- storing a plurality of images;
- displaying a face position designation area on a touchscreen of the mobile terminal;
- receiving a first input via the face position designation area, the first input indicating a specific region of the face position designation area;

- displaying a first image of the plurality of images, the first image including a face that is at a location of the first image that generally corresponds to the specific region.
