Abstract
A method providing fluid treatment along a flow path extending through a conduit having a serial coupling of conduit segments including a non-magnetically conductive segment positioned between two non-magnetically conductive segments utilizing magnetic energy concentrated adjacent to the non-magnetically conductive conduit segment and at least one region of pulsed fluid treatment within a treatment vessel.
Claims11
A method of fluid treatment, comprising the steps of:
- (a) establishing a flow of a fluid to be treated along a path, the path extending through a fluid entry port at the proximal end of a conduit having a serial coupling of conduit segments including a non-magnetically conductive conduit segment positioned between two magnetically conductive conduit segments;
- (b) directing the flow of the fluid along a path extending through a treatment vessel having an input port, a fluid impervious boundary wall downstream of the fluid inlet port and a fluid outlet port downstream of the fluid impervious boundary wall;
- (c) establishing a magnetic field having lines of flux directed along the flow path of the fluid and concentrated adjacent to the non-magnetically conductive conduit segment;
- and
- (d) establishing pulsed fluid treatment proximate at least one region within the treatment vessel.
