Method for finely controlling contents and portable terminal supporting the same

A method operative in a portable terminal having a display, the method comprising:

• displaying on the display a main slider including a slidable path of a predetermined length for designating a predetermined region of contents reproduced in the terminal;
• determining whether a predefined input signal is generated;
• and
• displaying an auxiliary slider of a length extending at least a part of a slidable path of the main slider when the input signal is generated, the auxiliary slider finely designating the region of contents,
• wherein the auxiliary slider is displayed at a region adjacent to the main slider.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor to perform a method comprising:

• displaying on the display a main slider including a slidable path of a predetermined length for designating a predetermined region of contents reproduced in a terminal;
• determining whether a predefined input signal is generated;
• and
• displaying an auxiliary slider of a length extending at least a part of a slidable path of the main slider when the input signal is generated, the auxiliary slider finely designating the region of contents,
• wherein the auxiliary slider is displayed at a region adjacent to the main slider.
