Abstract
A method comprises receiving a first cryptographic token for one search term and a second cryptographic token is generated using the one search term and at least another search term. A first search is conducted using the first cryptographic token to generate a first result set, and the second cryptographic token is used for computing a subset of results of the first result set.

A method, comprising:
- receiving a first cryptographic token for one search term and a second cryptographic token is generated using the one search term and at least another search term;
- and
- conducting a first search using the first cryptographic token to generate a first result set, and using the second cryptographic token for computing a subset of results of the first result set;
- wherein the receiving and conducting steps are performed in accordance with one or more processing devices.

- generating a first cryptographic token from a first search term;
- generating at least a second cryptographic token from the first search term and a second search term, wherein the generating steps are performed in accordance with at least one processing device;

- sending the first and second cryptographic tokens to another processing device.
