Collection and analysis of customer data from application programming interface usage

A computer-readable medium storing instructions, the instructions comprising:

• one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
• receive an analytics query,
• the analytics query identifying a plurality of parameters;
• retrieve application programming interface (API) information associated with the analytics query,
• the API information including authorization information and transaction information,
• the API information being derived from usage of an API;
• determine demographic information associated with the analytics query;
• identify one or more user devices based on the API information and the demographic information;
• and
• provide information identifying the one or more user devices.

A method, comprising:

• receiving, by a device, a request for analytics information associated with a plurality of user devices;
• retrieving, by a device, application programming interface (API) information, derived from usage of an API, associated with the plurality of user devices;
• determining, by a device, demographic information corresponding to users of the plurality of user devices;
• determining, by a device, the analytics information based an analysis of the API information and the demographic information;
• and
• providing, by a device, the analytics information.
