Abstract
A curable clear coat component for use in a two-component clear coat coating composition system is provided. The curable clear coat component comprises A) a polyaspartic acid ester or a hydroxyl functional binder or a combination of both, and B) an antioxidant component comprising B1) a sterically hindered phenol antioxidant, and B2) an organophosphite antioxidant.

A curable clear coat component for use in a two-component clear coat coating composition system, said curable clear coat component comprising:
- A) a polyaspartic acid ester or a hydroxyl functional binder or a combination of both, and
- B) an antioxidant component comprising
- B1) a sterically hindered phenol antioxidant and
- B2) an organophosphite antioxidant.
A two-component clear coat coating composition system for making a clear coat coating, the two-component clear coating composition system comprising:
- a curable clear coat component comprising:
- a polyaspartic acid ester or a hydroxyl functional binder or a combination of both, and
- an antioxidant component comprising;
- a sterically hindered phenol antioxidant and
- an organophosphite antioxidant, and
- a cross-linking component adapted for combining with the curable clear coat component prior to application of the clear coat coating.
