Claims25
A detergent composition comprising a subtilisin variant having protease activity, the variant comprising the substitutions corresponding to Y217X and N218Z of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, wherein X and Z are selected from the group consisting of D, E, R, K, H, S and T, wherein when X is either K, H or R then Z is also selected from K, H or R and wherein when X is either D, E, S or T then Z is also selected from D, E, S or T.

A method for producing a detergent composition, the method comprising the step of adding a subtilisin variant which was obtained by a method comprising introducing into a parent subtilisin the substitutions corresponding to Y217X and N218Z of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, wherein X and Z are selected from the group consisting of D, E, R, K, H, S and T, wherein when X is either K, H or R then Z is also selected from K, H or R and wherein when X is either D, E, S or T then Z is also selected from D, E, S or T.

A method for cleaning an object, the method comprising the step of contacting the object with a cleaning composition comprising a subtilisin variant having protease activity, the variant comprising the substitutions corresponding to Y217X and N218Z of SEQ ID NO:
- 2, wherein X and Z are selected from the group consisting of D, E, R, K, H, S and T, wherein when X is either K, H or R then Z is also selected from K, H or R and wherein when X is either D, E, S or T then Z is also selected from D, E, S or T.
