Abstract

A system for providing real-time bi-directional charge capture-centralized conversation between Billing and Provider entities, comprising a first computer apparatus with a computer apparatus charge capture module installed and a second computer apparatus with a computer apparatus billing module installed that are used to transmit and/or receive real-time charge capture centralized conversation data. Real-time charge capture-centralized conversation data is comprised of real-time charge capture data, which can be combined to create real-time claim data. The system further comprises first and second computer apparatus receipt and transmission via secured communication links. The real-time charge capture data, capture-centralized conversation data and claim data is presented in a social media conversation style format. The first and second computer apparatus make it possible for both a Billing and a Provider entity to initiate, transmit or modify any of the sets of real-time charge capture data or charge capture-centralized conversation data.

A system for providing real-time bi-directional charge capture-centralized conversation between at least one Billing entity and at least one Provider entity, comprising a first computer apparatus with a computer apparatus charge capture module installed and a second computer apparatus with a computer apparatus billing module installed.

A method for providing real-time bi-directional charge capture-centralized conversation between at least one Billing entity and at least one Provider entity, comprising a first computer apparatus with a computer apparatus charge capture module installed and a second computer apparatus with a computer apparatus billing module installed, wherein real-time charge capture data and real-time charge capture-centralized conversation data is created and can be combined to create at least one complete set of real-time claim data, creating the real-time charge capture data comprising the steps of:

displaying a computer apparatus charge capture template image interface on the first computer apparatus with the computer apparatus charge capture module installed having a service/product recipient information section;
receiving from the at least one Provider the service/product recipient information including new service/product recipient information and/or existing service/product recipient information stored in or accessed from a secure network environment;
creating service/product recipient diagnosis information by the at least one Provider based on service/product recipient assessment including new service/product recipient diagnosis information or previous service/product recipient diagnosis information stored in or accessed from the secure network environment;
creating service/product recipient procedure information by the at least one Provider based on the service/product recipient diagnosis information by the at least one Provider based on the service/product recipient assessment including new service/product recipient procedure information or previous service/product recipient procedure information stored in or accessed from the secure network environment;
adding any and all relevant service/product recipient attachments by the at least one Provider to real-time charge capture data;
designating a service/product recipient's date of service of an encounter;
and
saving collected service/product recipient information, service/product recipient diagnosis information, service/product recipient procedure information, service/product recipient file attachments, and service/product recipient's date of service as new real-time charge capture data.

a familiar inbox-styled list of accounts pane showing accounts and at least one Provider associated with the accounts that at least one Billing entity handles billing for, displaying icons and textual indicators to designate unread, read and replied to message status;
a familiar inbox-styled pane showing a list of real-time charge capture data with associated real-time charge capture-centralized conversation data messages displaying icons and textual indicators to designate unread, read and replied to message status, as well as a new service/product recipient indicator where appropriate;
a familiar charge preview pane showing a preview of selected real-time charge capture data from the inbox-styled pane showing the list of real-time charge capture data with associated real-time charge capture-centralized conversation data messages;
a familiar messages preview pane showing a preview of selected real-time charge capture-centralized conversation data message string related to the selected real-time charge capture data from the inbox-styled pane showing the list of the real-time charge capture data with the associated real-time charge capture-centralized conversation data messages;
and
receiving from the at least one Provider the real-time charge capture data that is automatically imported to the second computer apparatus with the computer apparatus billing module, or that the at least one Billing entity manually enters into the second computer apparatus with the computer apparatus billing module including new and/or existing real-time charge capture data and/or the associated real-time charge capture-centralized conversation data messages transmitted via a secure network environment.
