Abstract
A method for providing material to a gasifier. The method comprises providing a feedstock. A flow of the feedstock is formed. The flow is then delivered to a gasifier such that it provides a substantially airtight seal to the gasifier.

A method for providing material to a gasifier, said method comprising:
- providing a feedstock;
- forming a flow of said feedstock;
- and
- delivering said flow of said feedstock to a gasifier such that said flow of said feedstock provides a substantially airtight seal to said gasifier.
