Abstract
A system and method for improved voice and data communication is described. One embodiment includes a method for data communication with an end user, the method comprising connecting to an agent device; receiving a data session request from the agent device, wherein the data session request comprises a target telephone number; establishing a data session with an end-user device associated with the target telephone number; and transmitting data messages between the end-user device and the agent device using the data session.

A method for data communication with an end user, the method comprising:
- connecting to an agent device;
- receiving a data session request from the agent device, wherein the data session request comprises a target telephone number;
- establishing a data session with an end-user device associated with the target telephone number;
- and
- transmitting data messages between the end-user device and the agent device using the data session.
A non-transitory computer readable medium encoded with instructions for performing data communication with an end user, the method comprising:
- connecting to an agent device;
- receiving a data session request from the agent device, wherein the data session request comprises a target telephone number;
- establishing a data session with an end-user device associated with the target telephone number;
- and
- transmitting data messages between the end-user device and the agent device using the data session.
A method for data communication with an end user, the method comprising:
- connecting a data session server to an agent device;
- receiving a data session request from the agent device, wherein the data session request comprises a target telephone number;
- establishing a data session between the agent device and the data session server, wherein the data session is established through an Internet server gateway;
- connecting the data session server to an end-user device, wherein the end-user device is associated with the target telephone number;
- establishing the data session between the end-user device and the data session server;
- and
- transmitting data messages between the end-user device and the agent device using the data session.
