A communication apparatus, comprising:

• an acquiring unit configured to acquire information of another communication apparatus;
• and
• a decision unit configured to decide, based on the information of the other communication apparatus acquired by the acquiring unit and information of the communication apparatus, whether to operate as a first role or a second role in a wireless network comprised by the communication apparatus and the other communication apparatus;
• wherein the first role is a role for generating a wireless network and managing an address for an apparatus participating the wireless network, and the second role is a role for participating a wireless network generated by another apparatus.

A control method of a communication apparatus, comprising:

• acquiring information of another communication apparatus;
• and
• deciding, based on the acquired information of the other communication apparatus and information of the communication apparatus, whether to operate as a first role or a second role in a wireless network comprised by the communication apparatus and the other communication apparatus;
• wherein the first role is a role for generating a wireless network and managing an address for an apparatus participating the wireless network, and the second role is a role for participating a wireless network generated by another apparatus.
