A vibration isolation system, comprising:
- a housing;
- and
- a first isolation member comprising a receptacle to receive an outer body of a motor, a first plurality of compliant arms, and a second plurality of compliant arms;
- wherein each compliant arm of the first isolation member has a first end and a second end, the first end of each of the compliant arms is coupled to the receptacle, and the second end of each of the compliant arms is coupled to the housing.
A vibration isolation member, comprising:
- a receptacle to receive an outer body of a motor;
- a first plurality of compliant arms;
- a second plurality of compliant arms;
- wherein each of the compliant arms has a first end and a second end, the first end of each of the compliant arms is coupled to the receptacle, and the second end of each of the compliant arms is arranged to couple to a support structure;
- and
- wherein the vibration isolation member is arranged to suspend a motor.
A vibration isolation system, comprising:
- a housing comprising a central axis, a first housing member, and a second housing member;
- a first isolation member comprising a receptacle to receive an outer body of a motor, a first plurality of compliant arms, and a second plurality of compliant arms;
- and
- a second isolation member comprising a receptacle to receive the outer body of a motor, a third plurality of compliant arms, and a fourth plurality of compliant arms;
- wherein each compliant arm of the first isolation member has a first end and a second end, the first end of each of the compliant arms is coupled to the receptacle, and the second end of each of the compliant arms is coupled to the second housing member;
- wherein each of the compliant arm of the second isolation member has a first end and a second end, the first end of each of the compliant arms is coupled to the receptacle, and the second end of each of the compliant arms is coupled to the second housing member;
- and
- wherein each compliant arm of the first and second isolation members is oriented in a non-radial direction with respect to the central axis.
