Anti-Slip Overshoe with Flexible Cleats and Method of Gripping Natural Surfaces

A gripping device for an anti-slip overshoe, comprising:

• a body;
• a button extending from a first end of the body;
• a plurality of spikes extending from a second end of the body around a perimeter of the body;
• and
• a neck disposed around the body between the button and spikes.

A method of making an anti-slip overshoe, comprising:

• providing a contoured outer band;
• disposing a first gripping pad interior to the contoured outer band;
• providing a web structure connecting the first gripping pad to the contoured outer band;
• and
• attaching a plurality of gripping devices to the first gripping pad, the gripping devices including spikes disposed around a perimeter of the gripping devices for traction.

A method of making a gripping device for an anti-slip overshoe, comprising:

• providing a body;
• forming a button extending from a first end of the body;
• forming a plurality of spikes extending from a second end of the body around a perimeter of the body;
• and
• disposing a neck around the body between the button and spikes.
