Abstract
A transmission apparatus includes a mapping unit configured to map a first information associated with detecting an error of a frame into a payload area of the frame; and a transmission unit configured to transmit the frame including the first information and a second information associated with detecting an error of the frame.
Claims20
A transmission apparatus comprising:
- a mapping unit configured to map a first information associated with detecting an error of a frame into a payload area of the frame;
- and
- a transmission unit configured to transmit the frame including the first information and a second information associated with detecting an error of the frame.
A transmission apparatus comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- a processor coupled to the memory and configured to:
- map a first error correction code into a free space in a payload area of a second frame, the payload area including multiplexed first frames, at least one of the first frames including a client signal and a respective first error correction code associated with correcting an error of the client signal;
- and
- transmit the second frame including the first error correction code and a second error correction code associated with correcting an error of the second frame.
A transmission method of a transmission apparatus, comprising:
- mapping a first error correction code into a free space in a payload area of a second frame, the second frame including a second error correction code associated with correcting an error of the second frame, the payload area including multiplexed first frames, at least one of the first frames including a client signal;
- and
- using a respective first error correction code in correcting an error of the client signal.
A transmission method, comprising:
- mapping an error correction code generated to correct an error of a first frame in a free space of a payload of a second frame in which the first frame is multiplexed;
- and
- adding an error correction code of the second frame to a frame resulting from the mapping and transmitting the multiplexed frame.
The transmission method according to 18, wherein a total transmission rate of the multiplexed frame remains below a predefined value subsequent to the mapping and the adding.
The transmission method according to 18, comprising:
- calculating the free space based on a difference between a transmission rate of the first frame from a transmission rate of the payload area of the second frame.
