Abstract
A multilayered wound dressing which is two-dimensional and has a peripheral edge is provided that includes at least one hydrophobic antimicrobial layer, at least one absorbent layer which includes a water-containing hydrogel, and a covering layer. Starting from the edge of the wound dressing, at least one incision is formed, which partially separates the wound dressing.

Multilayered wound dressing (1) which is two-dimensional and has a peripheral edge, comprising:
- (a) at least one hydrophobic antimicrobial layer (19);
- (b) at least one absorbent layer (17) which comprises a water-containing hydrogel;
- and
- (c) a covering layer (15),
- characterized in that, starting from the edge of the wound dressing, at least one incision (7) is formed, which partially separates the wound dressing (1).
