Abstract
Desensitizing drug products, methods of making desensitizing drug products, and methods of using desensitizing drug products including delivery of desensitizing drug products are disclosed herein.
Claims18
A method of treating interstitial cystitis in a patient, the method comprising:
- administering to the patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising 7.7% by weight lidocaine based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, 0.86% thymol based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, 10% by weight ethanol based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, and a base;
- and
- relieving symptoms of interstitial cystitis.
A method of treating vulvodynia in a patient, the method comprising:
- administering to the patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising 7.7% by weight lidocaine based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, 0.86% thymol based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, 10% by weight ethanol based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, and a base;
- and
- relieving symptoms of vulvodynia.
A method of preventing pain to the breast of a patient, the method comprising:
- administering to the patient a pharmaceutical composition comprising 7.7% by weight lidocaine based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, 0.86% thymol based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, 10% by weight ethanol based on the total weight of the pharmaceutical composition, and a base;
- and
- preventing pain to the breast of a patient.
