Abstract
[Problem] The topic of the present invention is the elucidation of the biological function of CTRP6 and its application. [Solution] A pharmaceutical composition containing CTRP6 for the prevention or treatment of autoimmune disease. Ideally, a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of inflammation associated with autoimmune disease, for example, rheumatoid arthritis or type 1 diabetes, is provided.

A method of treating or preventing an autoimmune disease in a mammalian subject in need thereof, comprising administering to said subject a therapeutically effective amount of CTRP6.
