Abstract
An apparatus, a system and method to crumple paper from a dispenser that stores the paper on a paper roll wound around an airshaft. The paper roll sits within a dispenser, and the paper roll contacts a shelf section inside the dispenser. The paper is dispensed from the paper roll through a crumpler on the shelf section. Crumpling paper occurs by contacting a protrusion on the crumpler against the paper to crumple the paper as the paper passes through the crumpler.
Claims18
A method for crumpling paper, the method comprising the steps of:
- storing a paper roll within a box wherein the paper is wound around an airshaft forming a core of the paper roll;
- dispensing the paper from the core of the paper roll;
- and
- removing the paper from the box wherein the paper is crumpled within the box during removal.
An apparatus for crumpling paper, the apparatus comprising:
- a box having a base, a top and walls that define an interior;
- a shelf in the interior of the box separating the interior of the box into a first section and a second section;
- a crumpler formed in the shelf;
- and
- a hole in the top of the box wherein the crumpler and the hole are in vertical alignment that is parallel to the walls of the box.
A system comprising:
- a box having an interior;
- a paper roll in the interior of the box wherein the paper roll has a length of paper wound around an air core;
- a shelf in the interior of the box wherein the shelf separates the interior into a first section and a second section wherein the paper roll is in the first section;
- and
- an orifice in the shelf wherein the paper is fed through the orifice and initiated from the air core of the paper roll.
