Abstract
The present invention provides an implantable article comprising an amorphous terpolymer and a semi-crystalline polymer. The amorphous terpolymer can be admixed with the semi-crystalline polymer or form a block copolymer with the semi-crystalline polymer.
Claims22
An implantable article, comprising an amorphous terpolymer and a semi-crystalline polymer, wherein the amorphous terpolymer is admixed with the semi-crystalline polymer.
A method of fabricating an implantable device, comprising
- forming an implantable article comprising an amorphous terpolymer and a semi-crystalline polymer,
- wherein the amorphous terpolymer comprises lactide, glycolide, and caprolactone,
- wherein the semi-crystalline polymer comprises poly(L-lactide),
- wherein the amorphous terpolymer is admixed with the semi-crystalline polymer.
