Abstract
A signal processing device includes: a plurality of multipliers configured to obtain a first multiplication result by multiplying a tap coefficient by 1/√2; a plurality of mappers configured to output a mapping result based on a first mapping coefficient and a digital input signal; and a plurality of first selectors configured to select the first multiplication result based on the mapping result.

A signal processing device comprising:
- a plurality of multipliers configured to obtain a first multiplication result by multiplying a tap coefficient by 1/√2;
- a plurality of mappers configured to output a mapping result based on a first mapping coefficient and a digital input signal;
- and
- a plurality of first selectors configured to select the first multiplication result based on the mapping result.

A signal processing method, comprising:
- outputting a first multiplication result by multiplying a tap coefficient of a plurality of bits by 1/√2;
- selecting a first mapping coefficient from a plurality of first mapping coefficients based on a digital input signal to output a selected coefficient as a mapping result;
- and
- selecting one of the first multiplication result and a second multiplication result that is obtained by converting the first multiplication result based on the mapping result to output a selected result as a selection result.

A communication device, comprising:
- a signal processing device configured to process an input signal;
- a digital/analog converter configured to convert an output of the signal processing device to an analog signal;
- and
- a modulator configured to perform modulation on the analog signal, wherein the signal processing device includes:
- a plurality of multipliers configured to obtain a first multiplication result by multiplying a tap coefficient by 1/√2;
- a plurality of mappers configured to output a mapping result based on a first mapping coefficient and a digital input signal;
- and
- a plurality of first selectors configured to select the first multiplication result based on the mapping result.
