Integrated audio-visual systems

A method of using an integrated audio-visual system, comprising

• providing an audio signal to the integrated audio-visual system;
• and
• projecting an image on an image projection screen,
• wherein the integrated audio-visual comprises:
• an acoustic diaphragm configured to vibrate in response to the audio signal and having a first surface and a second surface, the first surface serving as the image projection screen;
• an input terminal coupled to the acoustic diaphragm and configured to receive the audio signal;
• and
• a frame provided on the second surface of the acoustic diaphragm, the frame defining an air gap and exposing a portion of the second surface of the acoustic diaphragm to the air gap.

An acoustic diaphragm comprising:

• a voice coil layer comprising a plurality of voice coils;
• a first layer, the first layer formed on a first side of the plurality of voice coils;
• and
• a second layer, the second layer formed on a second side of the plurality of voice coils;
• wherein the plurality of voice coils are sandwiched between the first and second layers, and
• wherein the a surface of a first layer serves as an image projection screen.
