The image processing device includes an image conversion unit (111) that converts at least one image among the input images that form the stereoscopic image into a planar image, and an image generation unit (151) that generates the display image by synthesizing the planar image that has been converted by the image conversion unit (111) and an image among the plurality of input images that has not been converted into a planer image by the image conversion unit (111).
