Pipe machining apparatuses and methods of operating the same

A pipe machining apparatus comprising:

• a frame adapted to be coupled to and fixed relative to a pipe;
• a tool carrier coupled to and moveable relative to the frame and the pipe;
• and
• a locking member selectively engageable with the frame and the tool carrier to prevent movement of the tool carrier relative to the frame.

A roller bearing assembly for a pipe machining apparatus, the roller bearing assembly comprising:

• a spindle defining a lubricant cavity therein;
• a roller coupled to and rotatable about the spindle, wherein a second cavity is defined between the spindle and the roller;
• and
• a bearing assembly positioned in the second cavity between the spindle and the roller;
• wherein the lubricant cavity is in fluid communication with the second cavity.

A pad for a coupling member adapted to couple a pipe machining apparatus to a pipe, the pad comprising:

• a housing defining a housing cavity;
• an engagement member at least partially positioned in the housing cavity and adapted to engage a surface of a pipe;
• and
• an adjustment member coupled to the housing and the engagement member, wherein the adjustment member is moveable to move the engagement member relative to the housing.
