Abstract
A shoulder assembly for a crash test dummy includes a shoulder assembly having a spring housing and a shoulder pivot member pivotally connected to the spring housing. The shoulder assembly includes a spring element disposed in the spring housing and an adjustable member to adjust the friction of the spring element.

- a spring housing;
- a shoulder pivot member pivotally connected to said spring housing;
- a spring element disposed in said spring housing;
- and
- an adjustable member to adjust a friction of said spring element.

- a body;
- a spine assembly operatively attached to said body;
- and
- a shoulder assembly operatively attached to said spine assembly and comprising a spring housing, a shoulder pivot member pivotally connected to said spring housing, a spring element disposed in said spring housing, and an adjustable member to adjust a friction of said spring element.
