Abstract
The invention discloses a method and device for detecting clogging of a filter. The method comprises obtaining an ambient parameter, obtaining a threshold associated with the ambient parameter, and obtaining a speed of a fan which is located near the filter. The method further comprises comparing the fan speed with the threshold and outputting an alarm signal indicative of the clogging if the fan speed exceeds the threshold. The ambient parameter may comprise at least one of ambient temperature, atmosphere pressure and supply voltage.
Claims11
A method for detecting clogging of a filter, comprising:
- obtaining an ambient parameter;
- obtaining a threshold associated with the ambient parameter;
- obtaining a speed of a fan which is located near the filter;
- comparing the fan speed with the threshold;
- and
- outputting an alarm signal indicative of the clogging if the fan speed exceeds the threshold, wherein the ambient parameter comprises at least one of ambient temperature, atmosphere pressure, and supply voltage.
A device for detecting clogging of a filter, the device comprising:
- a parameter sensor adapted to obtain an ambient parameter;
- a fan speed sensor adapted to obtain a speed of a fan which is located near the filter;
- and
- a controller adapted to:
- obtain a threshold associated with the ambient parameter;
- compare the fan speed with the threshold;
- and
- output an alarm signal indicative of the clogging if the fan speed exceeds the threshold, wherein the ambient parameter comprises at least one of ambient temperature, atmosphere pressure and supply voltage.
A filter system, comprising a dust filter, a fan located near the filter, and a device for detecting clogging of the filter, the device comprising:
- a parameter sensor adapted to obtain an ambient parameter;
- a fan speed sensor adapted to obtain a speed of a fan which is located near the filter;
- and
- a controller adapted to:
- obtain a threshold associated with the ambient parameter;
- compare the fan speed with the threshold;
- and
- output an alarm signal indicative of the clogging if the fan speed exceeds the threshold, wherein the ambient parameter comprises at least on of ambient temperature, atmosphere pressure and supple voltage.
