Deferred evaluation and presentation of a custom diagnostic analysis

A method, comprising:

• receiving code generated via a technical computing environment (TCE), the receiving the code being performed by one or more devices;
• performing a test on the code to generate a test result, the performing the test being performed by the one or more devices;
• generating test information based on the performance of the test on the code, the generating the test information being performed by the one or more devices;
• outputting or storing the test result, the outputting or storing the test result being performed by the one or more devices;
• receiving, based on the test result, a request for a diagnostic analysis of the code, the receiving the request being performed by the one or more devices;
• performing, based on the request, the test information, and at least one diagnostic, a diagnostic analysis of the code to generate a diagnostic result, the performing the diagnostic analysis being performed by the one or more devices;
• and
• outputting or storing the diagnostic result, the outputting or storing the diagnostic result being performed by the one or more devices.

One or more computer-readable media, comprising:

• one or more instructions that, when executed by a processor of a device, cause the processor to:
• receive code generated via a technical computing environment (TCE),
• perform a test on the code to generate a test result,
• generate test information based on the performance of the test on the code,
• output or store the test result,
• receive, based on the test result, a request for a diagnostic analysis of the code,
• perform, based on the request, the test information, and at least one diagnostic, a diagnostic analysis of the code to generate a diagnostic result, and
• output or store the diagnostic result.
