Embedded search results within the context of a process

A method comprising:

• receiving, from a user interface, an indication and a search term to be identified in one or more steps of a business process, the indication being representative of a search result format for an embedded context search;
• initiating a search for the search term in one or more steps of a business process;
• receiving one or more search results including metadata describing where the one or more search results are located in the business process;
• and
• generating a first page including the one or more steps of the business process, the first page further including the one or more search results embedded within the one or more steps to provide a context, when the indication representative of the search result format comprises the embedded context search.

A system comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory including code which when executed by the at least one processor causes operations comprising:
• receiving, from a user interface, an indication and a search term to be identified in one or more steps of a business process, the indication being representative of a search result format for an embedded context search;
• initiating a search for the search term in one or more steps of a business process;
• receiving one or more search results including metadata describing where the one or more search results are located in the business process;
• and
• generating a first page including the one or more steps of the business process, the first page further including the one or more search results embedded within the one or more steps to provide a context, when the indication representative of the search result format comprises the embedded context search.
