Self learning adaptive modeling system

A system, comprising:

• a processor coupled to a memory, the processor configured to execute the following computer-executable components stored in the memory:
• a first component configured to automatically predict an outcome based on an input and a predictive model;
• and
• a second component configured to automatically update the model with a best performing model from a set of candidate models distributed across a plurality of hierarchical levels.

A computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon that enable at least one processor to perform a method upon execution of the instructions, the method comprising:

• determining a set of candidate models for an input transaction from a set of predictive models segmented across two or more hierarchical levels;
• computing performance metrics for the candidate models;
• and
• identifying a top performing model from the set of candidate models based on a comparison of the performance metrics.
