Transaction queuing

A method for performing preliminary work associated with a transaction, the method comprising:

• receiving information associated with an intended transaction, wherein a user will execute the intended transaction at a facility at a user-defined time;
• determining preliminary work associated with the intended transaction that can be performed prior to the user-defined time;
• performing the preliminary work associated with the intended transaction, the preliminary work being performed based on information associated with the user or the user's account;
• and
• transmitting a message to the user.

A computer program product for performing preliminary work associated with a transaction, the computer program product comprising:

• a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising a set of codes for causing a computer to:
• receive information associated with an intended transaction, wherein a user will execute the intended transaction at a facility at a user-defined time;
• determine preliminary work associated with the intended transaction that can be performed prior to the user-defined time;
• perform the preliminary work associated with the intended transaction, the preliminary work being performed based on information associated with the user or the user's account;
• and transmit a message to the user.
