Abstract
A program resiliency management system having a resilience management engine that can generate a resiliency metric representative of how resilient a program is with respect to a particular event. The resiliency metric can be based on the characteristics of a program represented by program features and features related to the impact a particular event has on a program. The resilience of a program represented by the resiliency metric can be with respect to a program's capacity to resist an event, respond to the event, and recover from the event.
Claims19
A program resiliency management system comprising:
- a program interface configured to receive a program information including program features associated with a program;
- an event database storing events, each event having event attributes and program impact attributes;
- and
- a resilience management engine communicatively coupled with the program interface and the event database, and configured to:
- obtain the program features via the program interface;
- generate event selection criteria as a function of the program features;
- identify a set of events having event attributes that satisfy the event selection criteria;
- select a selected event from the set of events;
- derive a resiliency metric of the program based on the program features and program impact attributes of the selected event;
- and
- configure an output device to present the resiliency metric via the program interface.
