Abstract
A transmission adapter for a medical instrument with a shank, a transmission device movable in the shank, and a manipulating device with a first part, which can be coupled mechanically rigidly to a proximal end of the shank, and a second part, which is movable relative to the first part, includes a first coupling element for releasable mechanical coupling to the second part of the manipulating device, and a second coupling element for releasable mechanical coupling to a proximal end of the transmission device.

A transmission adapter for a medical instrument with a shank, a transmission device movable in the shank, and a manipulating device with a first part, which can be coupled mechanically rigidly to a proximal end of the shank, and a second part, which is movable relative to the first part, wherein the transmission adapter has:
- a first coupling element for releasable mechanical coupling to the second part of the manipulating device;
- a second coupling element for releasable mechanical coupling to a proximal end of the transmission device.
A shank for a medical instrument, with:
- a proximal end for coupling to a first part of a manipulating device;
- a distal end for coupling to a tool;
- and
- a transmission adapter, which is movable relative to the shank.
