Abstract
Hand wash compositions including ε-phthalimido-peroxyhexanoic acid are described herein.
Claims32
A hand wash composition comprising:
- from about 0.3 wt % to about 8.0 wt % phthalimido-peroxy-hexanoic acid;
- and
- at least one anionic surfactant;
- wherein the composition has a maximum inorganic salt concentration of 0.2 wt %, and pH of from about 2.5 to about 4.5.

A method of disinfecting the skin, comprising contacting the skin with a composition comprising from about 0.3 wt % to about 8.0 wt % phthalimido-peroxy-hexanoic acid, wherein the composition has a pH of from about 2.5 to about 4.5.
