Energy Storage Unit

An energy storage unit including a plurality of energy storage devices, each of which includes (i) a container which houses an electrode assembly and (ii) a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal which are electrically connected to the electrode assembly and extend from the container in a same direction, the energy storage unit comprising:

• a bus bar which electrically connects a first terminal and a second terminal, the first terminal being one of the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal of a first energy storage device included in the plurality of energy storage devices, the second terminal being one of the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal of a second energy storage device included in the plurality of energy storage devices and opposite in polarity to the first terminal;
• a first insulating member interposed between the first terminal and the container of the first energy storage device;
• and
• a second insulating member interposed between the bus bar and the container of the first energy storage device.
