Apparatus And Method For Controlling Traffic Flow In Backhaul Link In Wireless Communication Network

A method of communicating in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:

• analyzing, at a given BTS of the at least one BTS, at least one backhaul downlink between a controller and the given BTS;
• communicating at least one message, from the given BTS to the controller, including at least one result of the analyzing of the at least one backhaul downlink and appended with information specific to the given BTS;
• and
• causing the controller to control traffic flow in the at least one backhaul downlink based on the at least one result and the information specific to the given BTS.

A method of communicating in a wireless communication network, the method comprising:

• analyzing, at a controller, at least one backhaul uplink between the controller and at least one Base Transceiver Station (BTS);
• communicating at least one message, from the controller to the at least one BTS, including at least one result of the analyzing of the at least one backhaul uplink and appended with information specific to the controller;
• and
• causing the at least one BTS to control traffic flow, at the at least one BTS, in the at least one backhaul uplink, based on the at least one result and the information specific to the controller.
