Optical pickup apparatus

An optical pickup apparatus comprising:

• a light transmitting system including an objective lens which is configured to face a multilayer optical disk having a plurality of recording layers;
• a stray light controller configured to prevent stray light generated from the multilayer optical disk from reaching a plurality of detectors,
• the stray light controller is configured to include a light transmitting portion through which a plurality of light beams reflected from the multilayer optical disk and the stray light generated from the multilayer optical disk pass;
• a light diffraction portion configured to diffract the plurality of light beams reflected from the multilayer optical disk and the stray light generated from the multilayer optical disk;
• and a light blocking portion configured to block the plurality of light beams reflected from the multilayer optical disk and the stray light generated from the multilayer optical disk.

A stray light controller disposed between a light source system and a light receiving system, the stray light controller comprising:

• a light transmitting portion through which a plurality of light beams reflected from a multilayer optical disk and stray light generated from multilayer optical disk are configured to pass;
• a light diffraction portion configured to diffract the plurality of light beams reflected from the multilayer optical disk and the stray light generated from the multilayer optical disk;
• and
• a light blocking portion configured to block the plurality of light beams reflected from the multilayer optical disk and the stray light generated from the multilayer optical disk.
