Abstract
This invention provides a mechanism for doing print settings for a plurality of designated images by an intuitive operation. To achieve this, when a touch operation of a user for a plurality of images displayed on a screen has been detected, a display device according to one aspect of this invention displays a setting screen to set the print conditions of the plurality of images, and controls printing of the plurality of images in accordance with the print conditions set using the setting screen.

A display apparatus comprising:
- a display unit configured to display images of a plurality of pages including at least a first page, a second page, a third page, and a fourth page;
- and
- a layout control unit configured to lay out, in a case where an operation for bringing an image of the first page and an image of the second page displayed by the display unit closer is detected, the image of the first page and the image of the second page on a first sheet, and an image of the third page and an image of the fourth page on a second sheet which is different from the first sheet.
A method of controlling a display apparatus, comprising steps of:
- displaying images of a plurality of pages including at least a first page, a second page, a third page, and a fourth page;
- and
- laying out, in a case where an operation for bringing an image of the first page and an image of the second page displayed in the displaying step closer is detected, the image of the first page and the image of the second page on a first sheet, and an image of the third page and an image of the fourth page on a second sheet which is different from the first sheet.
