Display Device and Thin Television Set

A thin television set comprising:

• a display panel including a rear side holding member made of resin, holding a display cell from a rear side;
• and
• a substrate mounting member made of sheet metal, mounted on the rear side holding member made of resin, mounted with a circuit substrate, wherein
• at least the rear side holding member made of resin constitutes a rear housing, and
• the substrate mounting member made of sheet metal includes a drawn portion formed by a first protruding portion, and the rear side holding member made of resin includes a second protruding portion corresponding to the first protruding portion on a portion corresponding to the drawn portion of the substrate mounting member made of sheet metal.
