A method of using a radioactive emission camera in SPECT imaging, the method comprising:
- obtaining initial data from a region of the body to be imaged in an initial view or sequence of views;
- and
- while continuing to acquire data, analyzing said initial data to determine further views required to obtain a required image quality.
