Abstract

A device for discharging water from an inner space of a temporary water retention tank through a first discharge passage (2), characterized in that it comprises: a conduit (1) laid out for ensuring fluidic communication between the inner space and the first discharge passage (2), the conduit (1) having an inner section (12), the surface area of which increases in the direction of flow of the water in the conduit towards the first discharge passage (2) and an obturator (3) positioned inside the conduit (1), and controlled so as to be moved inside the conduit (1) according to the water level in the inner space, the displacement of the obturator (3) in the conduit (1) allowing regulation of the leak rate through the first discharge passage (2) regardless of the water level in the inner space between a first level and a second water level.
