• a plurality of components of the multi-component assembly in an unassembled state, the components having individually laser-marked graphic design sections assigned to the components based on an overall length and width of the multi-component assembly as well as the width and length of the components and individual spacing between corresponding components in an assembled state, the components being adapted to be assembled together into the assembled state to collectively establish a viewable expansive surface with the graphic design sections spaced apart from one another and collectively simulate an overall appearance of a graphic design spanning across the corresponding components of the multi-component assembly.

A construction kit for a multi-component deck assembly, comprising:

• a plurality of deck components of the multi-component deck assembly in an unassembled state, the deck components having individually laser-marked graphic design sections assigned to the deck components based on an overall length and width of the multi-component deck assembly as well as the width and length of the deck components and individual spacing between corresponding deck components into an assembled state, the deck components being adapted to be assembled together in the assembled state to collectively establish a viewable expansive surface with the graphic design sections spaced apart from one another and collectively simulate an overall appearance of a graphic design spanning across the corresponding deck components of the multi-component deck assembly.
