12 more elements
A method for detecting a parvovirus B19 nucleic acid in a sample, the method comprising:
- a) performing PCR with at least a portion of the sample using a forward primer having a forward primer nucleic acid sequence and a reverse primer having a reverse primer nucleic acid sequence,
- wherein the forward primer nucleic acid sequence is set forth in (SEQ ID NO:145), (SEQ ID NO:149), (SEQ ID NO:151), or (SEQ ID NO:154), and
- wherein the reverse primer nucleic acid sequence is set forth in (SEQ ID NO:146), (SEQ ID NO:152), or (SEQ ID NO:155);
- and
- b) determining the presence or absence of an amplicon, wherein the presence of the amplicon is indicative of the presence of the parvovirus B19 nucleic acid in the sample, wherein determining comprises annealing an oligonucleotide to the amplicon.
