Abstract
The present invention provides compositions and methods for the delivery of nucleic acids to a cell. The present invention additionally provides compositions and methods for the treatment of a disease or disorder, particularly cancer.
Claims53
A method for delivering an siRNA or antisense molecule to a cell, said method comprising:
- a) forming a complex comprising at least one siRNA or antisense molecule and a poly(propyleneimine) (PPI) dendrimer, and
- b) contacting said cell with said complex.
A method of treating cancer in a patient in need thereof, said method comprising administering to said patient at least two chemotherapeutic agents with different mechanisms of action and at least two inhibitors of cellular drug resistance.
A compound comprising a polyamidoamine (PAMAM) dendrimer, polyethylene glycol (PEG), and poly-L-lysine.
A composition comprising at least one liposome or dendrimer comprising at least two chemotherapeutic agents with different mechanisms of action and at least two inhibitors of cellular drug resistance, and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
