Orthopaedic cutting block

A method of forming a bone cutting block, said method comprising the steps of:

• forming a plurality of saw slot plates and two side plates, said plurality of saw slot plates each including a plurality of ends opposing one another, each of said plurality of ends including a locating feature, said side plates including a plurality of locating features;
• supporting said plurality of saw slot plates using said side plates, each said locating feature of said plurality of saw slot plates being connected with a respective one of said plurality of locating features of said side plates and said side plates thereby opposing one another, said plurality of saw slot plates defining at least one slot therebetween which is configured for receiving a bone saw blade therethrough to make a predefined cut in a bone.

A method of forming a bone cutting block, said method comprising the steps of:

• stamping a plurality of walls from at least one blank;
• connecting, after said step of stamping, said plurality of walls together, said plurality of walls defining at least one slot therebetween which is configured for receiving a bone saw blade therethrough to make a predefined cut in a bone.
