Claims6
A monoclonal antibody or an antigen binding fragment thereof that specifically recognizes d-methamphetamine, d-amphetamine, (+/−) 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine or (+/−) methylenedioxyamphetamine, wherein the monoclonal antibody or the antigen binding fragment thereof is generated using an immunogen comprising a hapten and an immunogenic carrier, wherein said hapten has the structure
- wherein:
- R1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and methyl;
- and
- L is selected from the group consisting of O(CH2)5 attached to the benzene ring at the meta position, and O(CH2)9 attached to the benzene ring at the meta position.
